The House Of 'F ' art collective
Fondest felicitations to all whom have found the House of 'F' website. Fellow 'F' artists, friends, freedom fighters, facebookers, and followers, all are welcome.
Feel free to flutter, float or fly through House of 'F'. We hope you find it all fascinating and a bit of fun.
In its first form the House of 'F' was born of failure, a failure of it's founders Kate Burrows and Annie Jeffs to make any impact on the
"Art world", a frustratingly fickle and flaky place.
Kate and Annie founded their own art world and called it "House of Fail", they flung open their doors to freely welcome creative people - thats basically that's everyone.
The adoption of the letter 'F' was fast to bear fruit and formed a philosophy based upon friendship and freedom within the spirit of festivity and fun.
We think art is to be lived and shared, not simply appreciated. We also believe in the creative potential of everyone of us, a potential that we actively encourage at all of our events.
As we gradually build the House of 'F' website we aim to include links to all kinds of like minded folk living creatively in our community.
Community is very important to us and in these times. We therefore invite you all to join us in the spirit of festivity and in the revival of 'folk' arts. These are difficult times for many of us, strengthening our communities through creativity is not just possible but crucial.
