Annie Jeffs
My name is Annie Jeffs and I am very pleased to have not one but 2 F's in my name, this is because the letter F' has become a very important letter for me. The House of 'F' is a place that together with my friend Kate Burrows we have invented, it is a place that continues to evolve and a place that I am very proud to be part of. The House of 'F is an invented 'Art world' that has real exhibitions and events, these are always open to everyone. Through the House of 'F I have been able to exhibit my work and sometimes even sell it! but best of all I have been able to be creative and have a lot of fun sharing that with family, friends and meeting new people, encouraging them all to join in and also to enjoy the value of their own creativity. The art work that I create is mostly made out of plastecene, I use it as a substitute for paint, I then combine it with other bits and pieces like petals, foil, garlic skins and all kinds of found materials. My partner Trevor Jeffs makes the frames for me. I make art for the love of it, I hope you like what you see here.
